Based on true events, this is the tragic story of a troubled teen who's family is falling apart as his mother grows ill and his father can not manage to plug into his family or his son having never shaken off the trauma of being a victim of the holocaust. The lonely, pained, and bitter teen ends up drawn to what would seem the least likely place of all- the emerging neo-Nazi youth culture.
This film shows how vulnerable, lost kids can so easily get caught up in the violence and freedom of a gang without even realizing the full extent of what they are embracing, and shows that at the root it is about anger not ideals.
The film is based on the high-profile stabbing of a black youth in the Netherlands in 1983, the first lethal hate crime in that nation since World War ll.
