International Student Film Festival Hollywood Announces the 2007 Official Film Selections

The official film selections for the 5th annual International Student Film Festival Hollywood (ISFFH) have been announced. 105 films from 13 countries were accepted into this year’s festival. Films came from Sweden, Australia, Brazil, Austria, Germany, Canada, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Israel, Korea, Hong Kong, the Czech Republic, and throughout the United States.  Students from as far away as the Czech Republic have already committed to attend the festival. Film students range from elementary school on up to graduate school.

All of the accepted entries will be screened throughout the festival November 14 – 18, 2007 in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood. The ISFFH offers student filmmakers from around the world a unique opportunity to share their talent with their peers and gain the recognition of film industry leaders, creating career development opportunities. Since 2003, the ISFFH has helped to place more than 20 graduate film students into production and post-production job positions.

On November 18th, awards will be presented to the top filmmakers chosen by a panel of judges made up of industry professionals. During this awards ceremony, legendary A.C. Lyles of Paramount Studios will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of his long association and his outstanding contribution to the motion picture industry.
