5 months before his stroke, Ariel Sharon ordered 17 Israeli settlements in Gaza and 4 in Northern Samaria to be removed. This unilateral attempt at peace met with fierce opposition from his own people and shock even from friends who believed this went against everything the former war hero had believed in for a lifetime. (Let's face it, it's not everyday you see common people yelling directly in the face of their leader for NOT starting a war.)
The film uses footage and interviews to give an exclusive and intimate look at this unlikely former Israeli prime minister to try to discover the man behind the actions.
