AT THE FESTIVAL

OUTFEST 2010

Outfest 2010 opened July 8 with HOWL, from filmmakers Jeffrey Friedman and Rob Epstein, and stars James Franco. A number of features, documentaries, shorts and more cover a wide array of interests for the LGBT community. The festival takes place in Los Angeles through July 18.

FILMMAKER SPOTLIGHT

ED KING III

Indie Express is following up and coming writer/producer Ed King III. His latest film project COUPLES, is a story about a celebration of a friend’s sobriety that turns into a night of secrets and lies revealed through seven couples.

 

King has tapped Angela Gibbs (director of THE TIES THAT BIND and co-creater with Marla Gibbs of the hit television series 227) to direct.

Indie Express is chronicling COUPLES' journey from script to screen and recently sat down to interview the creative team.
